<image:caption>“As a person with a long and willowy build, a lot of flexibility but little strength and lifelong posture issues, these classes have been life changing for me. I feel stronger and more connected within my body, and much more aware of how to use my core strength to help correct my posture. Taryn is an extremely knowledgeable and patient teacher. She focuses on the individual's needs rather than a "one size fits all" approach using the classical format of Pilates. She is tough yet motivating, but also sympathetic to my personal journey through Pilates. I couldn't recommend Taryn's classes more highly.” -Adrianne Wininsky (professional cellist) Marple, UK</image:caption>

<image:caption>Taryn U’Halie is a comprehensive classical Pilates practitioner, trained through Pilates 804 in Richmond, VA. Her passion for the method was sparked during her undergraduate dance career at Slippery Rock University, where she discovered how classical Pilates could transform movement through its deep integration of anatomy and kinesiology. This connection not only strengthened her dance technique but inspired a lifelong commitment to understanding the mind-body relationship at the heart of Pilates. With a B.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Spanish Education K–12 from Slippery Rock University, an M.A. in English TESL/TEFL from Colorado State University, and an M.Ed. in Education Leadership from George Mason University, Taryn brings a unique blend of artistry, pedagogy, and leadership to her practice. She designs personalized sessions that empower clients to move with precision and confidence, while fostering awareness of the body’s innate intelligence. Dedicated to accessibility and inclusivity, Taryn also offers bilingual instruction for Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking clients, ensuring that the transformative benefits of classical Pilates are available to a diverse community. Her approach reflects both her dancer’s discipline and her educator’s heart—creating a space where every client can learn, grow, and thrive.</image:caption>
